Mr. Montri Rawanchaikul (3rd from left), Chief Executive Officer of PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) together with PTTEP executives, presented a grant of 15 million baht to the Yacht Racing Association of Thailand (YRAT) for the eighth consecutive year. Admiral Somprasong Nilsamai (3rd from right), President of the YRAT received the contribution, which aims to enhance the capabilities of Thai sailing athletes for international competition. The handover ceremony was recently held at the Energy Complex in Bangkok.
Since 2006, PTTEP has been supporting YRAT by developing and promoting the capability of the sailing athletes in the international competitions, providing professional foreign coaches to share advanced techniques, supplying training and racing equipment, as well as sponsoring major international sailing competitions.
